These policies apply to all YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region staff, members, coaches, parents/guardians and program participates.
YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region strives to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. In furtherance of our mission, YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region aspires to engage participants of its sports programs in positive, honest, transparent, and knowledgeable dialogue about YMCA sports programs through Playerspace. YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region views Playerspace as an important tool for communicating its successes and opportunities.
All shall abide by the following guidelines when using Playerspace:

Posting Basics
Postings may be up to 500 words in length. All post must be written in English. Graphics, audio, javascript and HTML tags are allowed in post.
Type of Content
You shall not submit any libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive or otherwise illegal material. Please use respectful language that does not abuse or discriminate on the basis of race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual preference, age, region, disability, etc.  Any violation of this policy grounds for immediate and permanent suspension of access to all parts of this service. Further action will likely be taken.
Do not post content that would harm YMCA or damage YMCA’s reputation. Remember that even if you are on your own personal time, you are a representative of YMCA, and people may interpret your online postings or interactions as though they were official YMCA statements.
Be smart about what you publish. Once something is posted, it exists online forever. Ask yourself, “would I want to see this published in the newspaper or posted on a billboard tomorrow or ten years from now?” If the answer is “no,” do not post.
Playerspace can be used only in a noncommercial manner. You cannot, without the express approval of YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, distribute or otherwise publish material containing any solicitation of funds, advertising or solicitation of goods or services.
Please note that all league and team websites are accessible by the public. Do not post information that you want shared (phone numbers, mailing addresses, etc.).
Delete Posts
YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region reserves the right to delete, move or edit messages that we deem abusive, defamatory, obscene, in violation of copyright or trademark laws, or otherwise unacceptable. We reserve the right to remove the posting privileges of members who violate these standards of decorum at any time.
Repeatedly posting off-topic info or "spamming" by posting the same info multiple times is unacceptable behavior that may result in losing posting privileges.

If you are concerned about any content on Playerspace, please bring your concerns to the attention of your Sports Director.
